A glimpse

Bios are a funny thing: Like all of us, I have become so many different versions of myself; each bestowing lessons and skills along the way. If we all strive to live intuitively dynamic lives, how can I possibly fit that all into a bio?

So here is my current iteration of self. I am a bus dwelling forest bathing guide, writer, facilitator, and steward with a knack for simple living who craves connection and community. Simplicity is different for everyone, an intimate journey to distill what makes us most content. I fully intend to create space for others to facilitate their own simplicity.

A little bit about what got me here: I grew up in the midwest where streams, creeks, road trips, and dysfunctionally supportive family guided me to experience and protect adventure in the seemingly ordinary.

Enamored by the overwhelming opportunity for universal connectivity, I studied Communication Studies at University of Iowa with Certificates in Entrepreneurial and Nonprofit Management. Since then, I’ve been gifted experiences across the world in service industry, social impact, financial sector, nonprofits, law firms, consulting, government agencies, and more.

bits and bobs: I’ve walked 1,600+ miles of the pacific crest trail with my Indi pup where I met my now partner (we didn’t speak full sentences to each other for nearly 1,000 miles). I love creating deliciously colorful meals outside. I aspire to be the most fun hobbit aunty. I am saving up for my second motorcycle while scouting windy roads to take her. I love driving our bus, it gives main character energy as I thumbs up semi drivers while blasting reggae as our home rattles down the highway hitting every pothole. I’ve discovered my love for stained glass, see previous sentence for a very problematic hobby.

That’s it, for now.
